Located in the Vall d’Orient, Canillo is the largest parish in the Principality and has a wide range of commercial establishments with a particular focus on the sports sector, owing to the fact that the parish boasts four access points to the Grandvalira ski area. During winter in Canillo, El Tarter and Soldeu, you'll find the latest skiing equipment – for all types of skiing – from the best international brands, for both purchase and rental. And in the summer, the shops offer everything you might need to enjoy activities in the mountains.
In Canillo and Soldeu, traditional shops and supermarkets offer a varied and complete range of everyday necessities and food products. These include products from local producers, such as cured meats from Cal Jordi, made in the town of Ransol in Canillo.
As well as the diversity of shopping opportunities there’s also a wide range of dining options, with a broad selection of bordes (traditional houses) offering Andorran cuisine made with local products, as well as a varied selection of international dishes.
