The Cascada Riu d’Urina climbing area is located in the parish of Canillo. It has 12 routes. Its difficulty is from 3 to 6a (low – medium). This is a magnificent place thanks to its waterfall which crosses the centre of the chalk wall. It is at alt. 1,150 metres and faces south east. The line is equipped with screws. Access is on the CG-2 towards Canillo, until the road that goes up to Mereig valley. We leave the roundabout on the entrance to the village of Meritxell behind us and carry on along the General Highway to the Cementiri Nou in Canillo, where there is a secondary highway to the left. We follow this road, which is called the Camí del Riu d'Urina, until we reach a sharp bend to the left, where we leave the car. At this point we start our approach on foot, crossing the river and following the path to the waterfall, where there is the climbing area.
