Start the route in front of the Sant Julià de Lòria Tourist Office, heading towards the Spanish border, using the pavement for extra comfort, until you join the track to the left after crossing a metal footbridge. We will then find the “Camí de la Senyoreta” sign. The path is rather steep at the beginning, with a steep climb up to the village of Juberri, always through the forest. Eventually you will find yourself next to some fields. At the entrance to the village, take the road on the left for around 100 metres, then turn right towards Aubinyà, another small village perched over the valley.

Once at the entrance to the village, turn right, in front of the Sant Romà shrine, and after a few metres take a path that heads down into the forest, cross a stream and the River Aubinyà using a wooden bridge. You’ll then climb again to the Borda del Mas farm building and a small hill, where you’ll go off the GR to continue descending towards the centre of Aixirivall, where you will arrive after crossing the La Rabassa road twice, always using caution. In the village, turn right to find the trail, again through the forest and crossing the River Escobet, until you see a vertical indicator that will have you turn to the right, towards the Sant Serní shrine.

The first stretch will be a steep, short climb to Coll del Cerc, where you will begin a quick, straight descent to cross the River Llumeneres and reach the Sant Serní shrine, which boasts magnificent views of Sant Julià de Lòria. The last stretch will be in quick descent, first down a smooth track, and then along a 500-metre stretch of road, to enter the streets of the village again along a paved track. Heading downwards, you’ll reach the starting point again.
