The Pic Blanc d'Envalira is located between the Pic d'Envalira and the Pic Negre d'Envalira. This short and undemanding trail will offer you a magnificent panorama of the Andorran mountains and the majestic Pessons glacial cirque.

Its starting point is at 2408m at Port d'Envalira (N42 32.394 E1 43.113) and its often covered by fog. It is therefore important to check the weather forecast before going there.

The trail that goes up a ski slope will take you to the old Sud-Radio building, part of Andorra's radiophony heritage.

From there you will continue on the same trail to the Col Blanc from where you will see the peak's summit, which you will reach after passing the return of the Pic Blanc chairlift, and along the Pic Negre ski lift, which are both used during the ski season.

The flora is not very abundant there because of the altitude of the peak. However, the Alpine toadflax and the Alpine armenes provide some colour and you may occasionally see a common kestrel.

For your safety, we recommend doing all routes above 1,700 metres between the end of June and the end of September. However, if the weather and terrain conditions allow it, the season may extend from May to October.

You’ll find more details about this and other routes in the Trails of Andorra Hiking Guide.
