After the church of St. Jaume dels Cortals, some 500 m after a curve, you will find a cabin on the right and a wooden sign that shows the path to Ensagents. Follow this path and you will soon enter a wood of Corsican black pine trees. You will then reach a clearing, where you will see a stone wall for cattle. At the end of this clearing you will find a crossroads where the path for the Pas de la Clau and the path for Ensagents is marked. Take the latter path, which goes off to the left and goes back into the woods. You will reach a point where the path leaves the woods and you will see a large stone wall. Follow the path that zigzags up until you reach the foot of the large wall of stone on your left. After this rise you will immediately find yourself at the cabin refuge of Ensagents (2h 30 min).

In order to get to the lakes you need to follow a partially hidden path in a north-easterly direction, in the same direction as the stream. Stone markings have been left to help walkers find the path. The first lake, at 2,526 metres above sea level. (2h 50 min) is the smallest. Follow its banks to the left and you will soon come to the second lake (2,535 metres above sea level). Keep on following the left bank along a partially hidden path and you will reach the upper lake, which is the largest of the three (3 hours), and which is overlooked by the majestic form of L'Alt del Griu.

To get to the Moreno lake, you need to take a path to the right before you reach the granite wall on the left hand side.
