DIFFICULT HIKING TRAILS

You have many trails to choose from that will take you higher than 2,900 m, the perfect altitude from which to admire the five highest peaks in Andorra.

Hiking route: Portella Blanca

La Portella Blanca is the geographic point that separates the states of Andorra, France and Spain. It is marked with a granite monolith.

Hiking route: Prat primer per Palomera

Prat Primer is to the south-east of the parish of Andorra la Vella

Hiking route: Refugi i Cap dels Agols

The hiking route is a pretty but difficult route with spectacular views and a climb of more than 1,000 metres.

Hiking route: Ruta Verdaguer - Estany de Creussans

This route owes its name to the fact that Mn. Jacint Verdaguer, did the route before writing Canigó, the famous Pyrenean legend.

Hiking route: Tomb de Puntal - Rialb - La Rabassa

This very difficult route has a total duration of approximately 5.30 hours and a distance of 11,35 km. The route’s toughness is compensated by the impressive views of Ordino mountain pass and the Vall de Sorteny nature park.

Hiking route: Collada de la Maiana

The hiking route is in the Vall del Madriu-Perafita-Claror, declared Heritage of Mankind in 2004.
