How does this ride work?

This activity will afford you the opportunity of sliding down the mountainside, suspended from a tensioned cable, for either 160 or 300 metres. You'll be secured, at all times, by a safety harness securing your back, waist and legs. The harness is attached to the drag lift's cable by means of a rope with a pulley at the end of it.

Once you've put your safety harness on, you'll have two options to choose from:

Big Zip or Kids Zip. Which one should you choose?

If you're an experienced zip-liner or you enjoy big thrills, the Big Zip is undoubtedly the choice for you: you'll be suspended up to 6 metres above the ground and zip down the mountainside for 300 metres!

If you're bringing the kids, Kids Zip is the choice for you: the little ones will slide from a maximum height of 6 metres, but in this case the route is shorter, 160 metres with lots of curves! Of course, the age range to access this activity is 3 to 11 years, and the maximum weight allowed is 50 kg.

Try the Big Zip in tandem!

This year, the Pal Arinsal resort is going one step further and giving you the chance to go down the Big Zip line in tandem! If you’d like to have a unique experience with your child, don’t miss this opportunity! You’ll both sail down, hanging from the same pulley and each attached with your own harness.

There is a maximum weight limit of 100 kg for the adult and 40 kg for the child, as well as a minimum height limit of 150 cm. !

Lastly, it's important to highlight that both activities are carried out under the constant supervision of a specialised professional so as to guarantee your safety at all times.

To enjoy the Big Zip activity you have to do is, take the chair lift which will take you straight to the start of the zip-lines. This activity is located in the Pal sector and is open all year round. In summer it's also part of the Mountain Park.

Overcome your fear of heights and slide downhill like never before!
