Guided Ecotourism route: Fishing and Mountain

Guided ecotourism: fishing and mountain

This tour starts with a visit to Salines sea farm and continues to Vall de Sorteny nature reserve, where we will visit the botanic gardens and the “l’estripagecs” structure.

This natural space boasts hundreds of trails, each showcasing the valley's botanical richness, including 700 species of plants, 60 of which are endemic to the Pyrenees  and maybe even see some of the sixty types of birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles and insects that inhabit these mountains, as well as freshwater lakes.

As we climb Planell de Quer, we will enjoy lovely views of the Estanyó basin, Roc del Rellotge rock, and La Serrera Peak (2,916 m).

Then we can take a rest and get our strength back in the park’s guarded refuge.

Level of difficulty: low
Outings: Thursdays
Time: 9.30am
