Here you can find some rather unusual accommodation for Southern Europe. The unique decor has been specially created by five Andorran artists.
This ice hotel has five private rooms with 20 m2 of space which can each sleep six people and come with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay.
The public areas contain three restaurants, a warm dome, a spa area with two jacuzzis, a sauna, showers and toilets.
The price includes snow groomer transport to the hotel which sits at the edge of the resort, a welcome cocktail, a night in the selected igloo type, a night-time snowshoe walk, dinner and use of the public areas including a spa session. The staff give guests Arctic sleeping bags and special bedcovers to stop them feeling cold overnight.
Further services are available too, such as adventure activities, skiing and snowboarding lessons, ski touring trips and catering services.
Inside the igloo the temperature is around 0ºC so you should dress warmly and kit yourself properly for your stay. However, there’s no need to worry as when you book the hotel staff will tell you exactly what you need to bring so you can enjoy your time here to the full. Among the recommendations of the Igloo Hotel staff are: bringing warm and comfortable shoes (not trainers), thermal clothing (not jeans), high-quality gloves and hats, a torch, a towel, and a swimming costume and flip flops for the jacuzzi.
You should carry a backpack or sports holdall as the Igloo Hotel doesn’t accept suitcases.
