Prepare to be moved by Carl Orff's composition
Carmina Burana is one of the most iconic and moving scores of the 20th century, a true explosion of rhythm, emotion and shared energy. Inspired by medieval poems about destiny, desire, love and human fragility, Carl Orff's piece fuses seemingly austere writing with an imposing musical power, which has an impact on the listener from the very first bar.
In Andorra, this monumental creation will become a great celebration with more than 185 performers on stage, as a result of an extraordinary collaboration between the ONCA – National Classical Orchestra of Andorra, the Youth Orchestra of Galicia, the Galician Symphony Orchestra Choir and the Friends of the Granollers Union Children's Choir. A unique opportunity to experience a live performance of an iconic piece from the symphonic-choral repertoire, designed to captivate and leave a lasting impression on the audience.
