Sant Julià i Sant Germà is the most important church in the parish of Sant Julià de Lòria and continues its ecclesiastical activity on a daily basis. Of Romanesque origin, the church was restored and reformed in the modern age. It still retains its square and solid three-storey Lombard bell tower, made using a well-ordered rigging of regular stone blocks, with arches and lesenes. Inside, in addition to a carving of the Holy Christ, we find the baroque altarpieces of Sant Julià, of the Immaculate Conception (18th century) and of Sant Germà, as well as two 12th-century carvings of the Virgin of Canòlic and of the Virgin of Los Remedios.

In May 2019, the internationally renowned artist Marko Ivan Rupnik, the so-called 21st-century Michelangelo, completed 200 m2 of mosaics in the church of Sant Julià.  The remodelling has contributed to making the main altar and the presbytery even more beautiful, as well as creating a chapel for the Virgin of Canòlic, patron saint of Sant Julià de Lòria. The artist captures in his work the image of a Christ Pantocrator covering the whole wall, as well as the image of Jesus surrounded by the evangelists, the Virgin Mary and other relevant figures in Catholic iconography.

A visit to Sant Julià i Sant Germà is included in the Ronda Laurediana cultural itinerary. Guided tour on request, €2.
