Camí hidroelèctric d’engolasters

Every Saturday (apart from the winter months) the Electricity Museum offers the Path of Engolasters hydroelectric, a tour of the production of electricity in which you will visit the workings of the Engolasters Lake dam, you will walk on the channels that take the water from the river and you will see the secrets of electricity production. Furthermore, you will be able to see how they formerly brought in the material and people to the guard huts on the dam, and you can get on the carriage that was in service from 1930 to 1999! The whole route is done on foot in perfect natural surroundings at 1,600m alt. with qualified guides to answer any question you might have at all times.

Timing: Leaving the Engolasters guard hut (going up the road to Engolasters towards the lake to the tourist information hurt): April, May and June, Saturdays at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.; in July, Saturdays at 10 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. and Sundays at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.; in August from Tuesdays to Sundays at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.; September and October, Saturdays at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. From April to October tools are given on request for groups in the mornings from Tuesdays to Fridays. Advance booking required.

Guided tour: Duration 1.30 hours. Places limited to 20 people/visit. Space adapted for the disabled. Special explanatory panels for the blind. Languages: Catalan, Spanish, French and English
