Miguel Poveda, one of the great voices of flamenco today, will be the protagonist of ClàssicAnd's closing concert. His path has led him to the most prestigious stages in the world, and Poveda stands out for his powerful voice and his ability to perform with great intensity and emotion. Each performance is a unique experience that transcends cultural and emotional boundaries. On this occasion, he will give an intimate and exclusive concert in which he will combine pieces from his latest work Poema del Cante Jondo, where he has put poems by Federico Garcia Lorca to music, and tracks from his most popular repertoire. The foyer of the Consell General building is a unique space where the proximity to the artist will create a unique and special connection with the audience.

Miguel Poveda

Winner of Spain's National Music Award in 2007, Miguel Poveda is one of the most widely recognised flamenco artists, both at home and internationally, on the current music scene.

He has received numerous awards throughout a career spanning more than 35 years: five Latin Grammy nominations for Best Flamenco Album (in 2000 for Suena Flamenco, 2007 for Tierra de Calma, 2009 for Coplas del Querer, 2013 for Real and 2015 for Sonetos y poemas para la libertad) and the Spanish National Music Award in 2007.
