From 25-11-2019 to 25-01-2020
The CAEE display brings you closer to the legendary Playmobil figure, an icon of the children’s toy, which has become a cult object and collector’s item.
The Clicks, the articulated plastic figurines, created by German designer Hans Beck, are the stars of the current exhibition on display at the Escaldes-Engordany Art Centre (CAEE in its Catalan initials). It is estimated that since they came onto the market in 1975, around 2 billion have been sold worldwide.
At the exhibition, organised by ClickFactoryFest you will find five miniature scenes representing various historical themes. The scenes have been made exclusively for the exhibition with all kinds of materials designed by Playmobil such as characters, animals, buildings, objects and utensils. An entire universe full of imagination, which revolutionised the world of children’s toys and over time has become a cult object and collector’s item.
