The exhibition looks at this original and inimitable movement

Subtitled “The blessing of chaos”, the exhibition transports visitors to a specific moment and city, which marked an epoch: Madrid and the “Movida”. This movement was expressed in numerous multidisciplinary artistic experiments.

The exhibition on display at the CAEE brings together examples from all genres and trends that coexisted in that period, leading to urban tribes that revolutionised contemporary customs in their own way.

Visitors will find paintings, photographs, sculptures, prints and even fashion by artists such as Ouka Leele, Ceesepe, El Hortelano, Miguel Trillo, Jaume Plensa, Miquel Barceló and Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, as well as others.

As usual, the CAEE offers various activities and free guided tours around the exhibition.
"The 80s. The blessing of chaos” can be visited at the CAEE until October 5.
