Discover the incredible history of MTB
Bici Lab Andorra’s fourth temporary exhibition offers you an insight into the history of mountain biking: a discipline that has given rise to an entire sporting culture of competitive events and leisure activities around the world.
A little more than 40 years have passed since this underground phenomenon first emerged in California. During that time, mountain biking has grown into the force we know today in the modern cycling world.
“Terra” takes visitors on a journey through the history of mountain biking, while explaining how the discipline has provided a new approach to understanding and taking part in cycling. Today, MTB offers a constellation of unique activities and events, ranging from leisure pursuits to competitions and championships at the global level.
Divided into three sections, “Terra” explores the birth of mountain biking, the different types of bike for each specialist area of MTB, and the world championships that took place at the Pal Bike Park this summer. The exhibition also includes a series of activities and guided tours. Entrance is free.
For more information and bookings, visit the museum’s official website.
Bici Lab Andorra is a modern facility where visitors can discover one of the best collections of classic bikes in the world. It is a space that boldly combines history and tradition with new technologies.
