SkyRace® Comapedrosa 2019

Next July's SkyRace® Comapedrosa will attract the participation of the best runners in the discipline.
The Andorran stage of the Skyrunning series has made a name for itself among the global elite of mountain racing. This year, Arinsal and the Valls del Comapedrosa Natural Park are once again the setting for this prestigious international competition.
On 28 July, the best athletes in this disciple will tackle the demanding SkyRace® Comapedrosa route. The athletes, both in the men’s and women’s categories, face 21 kilometres of ascents along a very technical high mountain course which will take them to an altitude of 2,972 metres, this being the peak of Comapedrosa, the highest of the Principality. The course has a positive elevation change of 2,300 m. The race forms part of the calendar of the ISF Migu Run Skyrunner® World Series and is scored by Skyrunner® National Series Spain & Andorra.
SkyRace® Arinsal, on the other hand, is disputed over 15 km with a positive elevation change of 1,400 m. This race is tailored towards amateur athletes wishing to start out in this demanding disciple.
And for the second year running, the Catalonia Kids Cup will be held, for youngsters between the age of 6 and 16 just starting out in vertical mountain racing.
