Don’t stay at home, come and enjoy the best summer activities in Ordino! This summer, the parish has prepared plenty of activities for everyone!

This summer, Ordino offers you the chance to enjoy its peaks more than ever before: with numerous options for all levels, you will have plenty of activities to enjoy with your family, friends, your partner or even your work colleagues!

For nature lovers

If you love nature, how about enjoying the mountain trails in Ordino? Soak up panoramic views from the Grau viewpoint, get to know the parish's six peaks topped with iconic estripagecs (made from the metal structures once used in windows to deter burglars) or have a more relaxing time and connect with nature through 'forest bathing' (from the Japanese term, shinrin-yoku). If, however, you’d prefer to plan a whole day out, you could also take a walk around the town of La Cortinada and discover its dry-stone constructions or visit the Sorteny Natural Park and follow the tracks left by the wildlife.

Experience adventure on Ordino's peaks

Do you enjoy adventure sports?  If your answer is yes, don't miss out on the numerous activities that the Ordino parish has in store for you: excursions through the Ordino valley to the Tristaina lakes, the opportunity to scale mountain faces or follow via ferratas, descend ravines, go orienteering in the valley, etc.

But that’s not all, you can also play a round of pitch and putt, par-3 golf or tackle the best-known passes and stages of the Tour de France on two wheels. That'll get your adrenaline flowing!

Learn about the culture of a country

Andorra is a country with a rich history and culture. If you'd like to learn about the roots of the Principality, check out these cultural excursions: you can find out how the Andorran people used to live by visiting the Casa Museu d'Areny Plandolit, discover the Cortinada with its cobbled streets and explore the Cal Pal Social and Cultural Centre, where you can enjoy its first exhibition on dry stone constructions and the use of this method in the Principality.

You can also visit the 'Arrels' (Roots) sculptures by local artist Àngel Calvente in the Living Forest; and if you want to see something fascinating, be sure to visit the Museum of Miniatures, where you’ll be dazzled by the wonders on display.

Finally, we recommend a walk through the iron mine, where you'll learn just how important the metal industry was for the country in the past, being one of the main economic drivers for Andorra from the 17th to the 19th centuries. Similarly, if you’d like to enjoy a different kind of activity, don’t miss out on the literary route. The walk takes a tour of the locations from the novel Últim Estiu a Ordino (Last Summer in Ordino) by Andorran author Joan Peruga.

And for the little ones...

Finally, Ordino has also thought about the little ones in its activities. We suggest spending fun afternoons in paradise with the family in Ordino, where you can search for the Tamarros (creatures from Andorran legends) hidden in the Principality’s forests, experience the legend of the Tió tree trunk in the Esquella Forest or take a fun walk along the Iron Route. If you want an extra adrenaline rush, you can also launch yourself from one of the 16 zip lines up to 200 m long in the Tirolina Park circuit in Ordino, among others! A whole range of possibilities for you to enjoy!

This summer, Ordino is more alive than ever before.
