Font Blanca - Ski Mountaineering World Cup

Font Blanca, whose scores count toward the Ski Mountaineering World Cup, will take place in the Ordino-Arcalís station and Arinsal Vallnord sector.

The ISMF ski mountaineering world cup will dispute the second trial of its calendar in Andorra. Like in previous editions, Font Blanca 2019 will have two individual races and the Vertical Race. The individual race will be held at the Ordino-Arcalis station on Saturday, 26 January. The Vertical Race will take place on Sunday, 27 January at the Arinsal sector of the Vallnord Pal-Arinsal station. Both trials will have be attended by the best male and female competitors in the specialty, in the senior, junior and cadet categories.

The 2019 calendar of the 2019 ISMF Ski Mountaineering World Cup will have 6 trials: Hochkönig Erztrophy (Bischofshofen, Austria); Font Blanca; Le Dévoluy-La Grande Trace (France); Beidahu (Jilin, China); Trofea Péz Ault (Disentis, Switzerland) and to close the calendar, the final event will be the Ski Alp Race Dolomiti di Brenta (Madonna di Campiglio, Italy).

Dates and locations: Ordino-Arcalís station and the Arinsal sector of the Vallnord Pal-Arinsal station, 26 and 27 January, 2019.
