FEDA Hydroelectric Plant

From 01-12-2019 to 03-05-2020

Now you can do an in-depth tour of the hydroelectric plant belonging to FEDA (Forces Elèctriques d’Andorra), the company responsible for Andorra’s power supply

This winter and spring, on the first Sunday of every month in the morning, you’ll have the chance to discover the inner workings of the FEDA hydroelectric plant with a guided tour.

Make the most of the general tour at the MW Museum of Electricity, which offers you a journey through the history of electricity production in Andorra, to explore spaces that are normally closed to the public.

The tour will allow you to see the generator room first-hand and go down to the turbine room where the pipes bring the water to generate electricity.

As this is an active industrial area, access is restricted to a maximum of 15 people.

For further information and bookings: MW Museum of Electricity, Encamp. First Sunday of every month, at 11:30 am, until 3 May. Activity for ages 7 and up; advance booking is required and good footwear is recommended. The tour is included in the general price of the museum ticket.

The MW Museum of Electricity is a member of the Andorra PassMuseu museum passport.
