“The world at world’s end”

29 from November - 29 from January

A display of photographs by the traveller and adventurer Sebastián Álvaro, creator and director of the television series “Al filo de lo impossible”.

“the world at world’s end”

To mention the mythical series “Al filo de lo impossible” is to talk about Sebastián Álvaro and pure adventure.

Thirty-five years over the six continents, more than 300,000 images and 300 documentaries, cannot be summed up in a single show, but the display that can be seen at the Tobacco Museum perfectly reflects the feeling of its author. “This display is a tribute to some of the places that changed my life and which now I want to share with the dreamers of freedom and the pilgrims of solitude”. For as he says, ”There was a time when the whole world was like that: grandiose, wild, beautiful, and desolate. The world before and after man. Places where you are always passing through, where you are tiny and vulnerable... where everything is huge: the light, the distances, the solitude, the silence...”

Place: Tobacco Museum in Sant Julià de Lòria, until 29 January 2017.
