Circus papers. Karoli Collection

From 22-04-2021 to 19-06-2021

The exhibition can be seen at the CAEE until 19 June and pays tribute to the world of circus and its history.

The exhibition offered by the CAEE, “Circus Papers”, pays homage to the world of circus by reviewing its history through a number of posters, engravings, programmes, books, photographs and tools used by the various circus disciplines: acrobatics, tightrope walking, trapeze, clowns and juggling.

The exhibition offers an interesting take on this traditional artistic discipline and its evolution through the pieces and objects in the Karoli Collection.

A treasure that will bring you closer to the magic of what is often considered the greatest spectacle in the world.

Venue and dates: Escaldes-Engordany Art Centre (CAEE) until 19 June 2021.

Opening hours: from Monday to Saturday, from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

As with other exhibitions, the CAEE offers several complementary activities based around the exhibition; places are limited, and prior reservation is required.
