The fire festival of Sant Joan and Sant Pere is back with a vengeance throughout the country. The summer solstice festival on the year's shortest night is the magical Night of Fire. On 23 June, following the collection of the Canigó Flame from Casa de la Vall, all the parishes – except Ordino, which does so for Sant Pere on 28 June – celebrate this traditional evening with the lighting of falles and bonfires in the streets and squares.
Canillo (23 June)
9:00 p.m. The falles are brought down the Carrer Major to the Els Refugis car park. Lighting of the bonfire.
Encamp (23 June)
The Revetlla de Sant Joan (Saint John's Eve) festival coincides with the celebration of the Festa del Poble, the parish's patron saint festival, which takes place from 22 to 24 June.
Ordino
St. Joan Eve (23 June)
22:00 Bonfire lighting. Technification Centre car park.
22:15 Distribution of coca and drinks
22:30 Fireworks.
Burning of the Mai de Sant Pere (28 June)
12:00 p.m. Raising of the Mai de Sant Pere. Prat de Vilella car park.
10.30 p.m. "Fallaires d’Ordino" dance by the Esbart Valls del Nord folk dance group. Plaça Major.
10.35 p.m. Young fallaires set out with the Gralla pipers and drummers of the Castellers d'Andorra. Plaça Major, route to the Prat de Vilella car park.
10:45 p.m. The Fallaires d'Ordino set out with the bagpipes of Albert Adellach and the timbales of Nerea Rius and Hèctor del Val. Plaça Major and route through the streets of Ordino.
11:00 p.m. "Sota la lluna de Sorteny" witches' dance by the Esbart Valls del Nord folk dance group. Prat de Vilella car park.
11:05 p.m. Traditional falla, lighting of the Mai and final burning of falles. Prat de Vilella car park.
11:15 p.m. Dance with the Duet Daura (Ivan Caro and Nina Planavila), with bar service, in the Prat de Vilella car park.
La Massana (23 June)
10:00 p.m. Fe(Minus) show in Plaça de l'Església.
10:30 p.m. Burning of falles. Departure from the Escola Andorrana and arrival at the schools' car park. Lighting of the bonfire. and witches' dance with the Esbart Valls del Nord folk dance group.
Andorra la Vella (23 June)
10:30 p.m. Baptism of fire. Placeta del Puial.
10:45 p.m. Young fallaires set out. Placeta del Puial and route through the streets of Andorra la Vella's old quarter to Plaça Guillemó.
11:00 p.m. Fallaires of Andorra la Vella set out. Placeta del Puial and route through the streets of Andorra la Vella's old quarter to Plaça Guillemó.
11:30 p.m. Final burning of falles and lighting of the bonfire. Plaça Guillermó.
11:45 p.m. Witches' dance by the Esbart Valls del Nord folk dance group. Plaça Guillermó.
Sant Julià de Lòria (23 June)
8:00 p.m. Relay descent from Plaça del Consell General to Plaça de la Germandat, carrying the Flame of Canigó.
10:30 p.m. Start of the parade with the Canigó Flame and the fallaires, in two processions simultaneously taking different routes to Plaça de la Germandat, where the dance of the Petits Fallaires lauredians will take place, followed by a parade (with all the fallaires) to Prat Gran park.
Midnight. Reading of the manifesto of Sant Joan and the lighting of the bonfire.
Escaldes-Engordany (23 June)
7:30 p.m. Baptism of fire at Plaça Coprínceps for new fallaires and children. Burning of the traditional falla.
11:00 p.m. Burning of falles along two routes:
1): Plaza Sta. Anna - Av. Carlemany - C. F. Mitterand - Nacions Unides car park (bonfire).
2): C. de la Unió - Av. Carlemany - C. F. Mitterand - Nacions Unides car park (bonfire).
Midnight. Arrival at the Nacions Unides car park and reading of the manifesto by the Pubillatge d’Escaldes-Engordany 2023-2024 children's folklore association. Fallaires dance and lighting of the bonfire.
