Arnau tomàs &bach suites

After more than twenty years of study, the cellist of the renowned Quartet Casals, Arnau Tomàs, has felt the impulse to record all of J.S. Bach's Suites for Cello on a record that has received praise from both the audience and the critics. Tomàs takes on one of the leading works for the cello and makes a historicist version that does not ignore the touches of romanticism given by great performers such as Yo-Yo Ma and Pau Casals. A new reading for this masterpiece by Bach, in one of the most intimate and suggestive concerts of this edition of the festival.

The 5th Festival of Ancient Music of the Pyrenees (FEMAP) offers four performances in Andorra. The 2015 edition offers 45 concerts, 3 musical tours and 6 sessions of “Gastrofilm” and other complementary activities in 26 towns and villages of the Pyrenees in the month of July and August.
