Andorra Outdoor Games 2017

22 from July - 23 from July

The third edition of the Andorra Outdoor Games, the Principality's open air sports festival, will take place on 22 and 23 July.

The third edition of the Andorra Outdoor Games provides you with the opportunity to compete in diverse sporting disciplines, which combine physical demand and elevation in a natural environment filled with the spectacular scenery of the Andorran Pyrenees. On the sports calendar, you will find the Triathlon, the Pic Negre Trail and the MTB Challenge.

The Andorra Triathlon, a trial that has had very successful participation in previous editions, challenges competitors to swim 1 km in Engolasters, a mountain lake located 1,600 m above sea level, cycle 36 km to the top-class mountain pass of La Rabassa, and finally run 9 km at an altitude of 2,000 m to Naturlandia.

The Andorra Pic Negre Trail, a mountain race of the Andorra Outdoor Games, has three competing distances: 16 km with a 650 m ascent, 23 km with a 1,350 m ascent, or 33 km with a 2,000 m ascent, passing through the Madriu-Perafita Claror Valley. The route of this edition of Andorra Pic Negre Trail has been modified and now travels entirely through Andorran territory.

The Andorra MTB Challenge cycling trial will be over two distances. A 90 km race with a 2,900 m ascent or 50 km race with a 1,900 m ascent.

At the Andorra Outdoor Games, we don't forget those accompanying the athletes, for whom the support is essential. A program of parallel activities have been prepared especially for them, so they can enjoy the new Scalada Stelar show from Cirque du Soleil, as well as a variety of activities from Naturlandia for the whole family.
