Discover the wonders of the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley, a protected area in Andorra declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley is the jewel in the crown of our natural heritage and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Cultural Landscape category. The park’s visitor services office organises a number of activities and workshops for lovers of nature and the environment.

From spring to autumn, enjoy the many wonders that the valleys and mountains in this unique natural habitat have to offer. Sign up for one of our guided excursions and workshops: there are options for all ages!

2022 Workshops and Activities

07/04. ‘Tasta l’alè de la natura’ (Taste a Breath of Nature). Fresh birch sap tasting in collaboration with L’Ànima del bosc.
10/05. ‘Connecta’t amb la biodiversitat’ (Connect with Biodiversity). Activity to discover the ecosystems that are part of life in our environment in conjunction with Andorra Sostenible.

9/05. Cooking workshop with wild plants by Racó de l’Anna, with Anna Porquet.
20-21-22 / 05: "Survival Weekend". A unique experience of immersion in nature, focused on developing different basic survival skills and (re)connecting with nature. Guaranteed by the European Wilderness Education School.
23/07. ‘Dansa dels gestos perduts’ (Dance of Lost Gestures), in conjunction with the company L’Era Arts Escèniques. An experience for all the senses.
01/10.  Insect workshop in conjunction with Marc Font of E-forestland.

Themed Excursions

18/06. ‘Etnobotànica’ (Ethnobotany). A tour of the Valley to identify different plants and how they are used, with Manel Niell, a biologist of AR+I.
25/06: ‘Bordes i evolució de la ramaderia a la Vall del Madriu-Perafita-Claror’ (Bordes and the Evolution of Livestock Farming in the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley). A look at the Valley’s history of livestock farming with historian David Mas.
02/07. ‘Aniversari de la Vall’ (Anniversary of the Valley). Guided excursion to bring the Valley’s heritage and values closer to the general public, coinciding with the anniversary of its recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
July: ‘La siderúrgia a la Vall del Madriu-Perafita-Claror’ (The Iron Industry in the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley). Historian Olivier Codina will take you on a tour around the valley to learn about the impact of the iron industry on its economy and its landscape.
27/08. ‘L’impacte de les obres de FHASA en el paisatge cultural de la vall del Madriu-Perafita-Claror’ (The Impact of the FHASA’s Works on the Cultural Landscape of the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley). With the help of FEDA, learn about the extent of the works started by FHASA in the Valley in 1929.
