Discover cross-country skiing

As well as the controlled routes at the resorts, we also have 22 free Skimo routes available for you, that you can either do independently or with our mountain guides.

The Ordino Arcalís ski area boasts over 30 km (18.5 mi) of pistes. The area is north-facing, which favours both the quality and quantity of snow. In recent years, these natural conditions, as well as the hosting of freeride competitions, have turned Ordino Arcalís into a world-class standard for off-piste skiing! The resort’s marked pistes include 11 yellow, two black, nine green and seven blue pistes.

Once you arrive at Ordino Arcalís ski resort, don’t forget to plan your visit to our sunny terraces at over 1,800 m (almost 6,000 ft) in altitude! Enjoy the beauty of the sun’s rays on the ski slope terraces, the best and most spectacular way to soak in the views of the area. Our spectacular terraces include the Refugi de les Portelles, a typical mountain refuge refurbished as a restaurant offering fine cuisine and located at the resort’s very highest point; the Borda de la Coma restaurant, one of the resort’s most emblematic restaurants; and finally, Terrassa Moritz, the ideal location to end a busy day’s skiing – try the most popular beer of the slopes and listen to live music in great company!
