Perfumería Júlia, their beginnings in the world of perfume
Perfumería Júlia is the fruit of the persistence and determination of Julia Bonet Fité. Born in Andorra in 1922, she founded her own company at the age of 17 years old and put all her effort into opening a hair salon on the ground floor of her house. Those were difficult times, and between the wars and the scarcity of products from the neighbouring countries, in the midst of a still undeveloped Andorra, Júlia was astute enough to take advantage of this business opportunity. At the request of her clients, Júlia Bonet Fité frequently travelled to France, where she would buy makeup and cosmetic products that weren’t available in either Andorra or Spain. She knew how to look after her clients by offering them the best service and the best cosmetic products of her time. Her efforts are the secret to how she turned her small business into an internationally recognised perfumery.
