The tour starts at the Coma de Ransol picnic area (N42 .36.730 E1 38.272).

You follow a signposted path towards the Coms de Jan shelter.

After passing through a forest of creeping pines, an ascent takes you up to the shelter (N42. 37.104 E1 38.335), located in a beautiful, small, glacial cirque dotted with streams, waterfalls and grazing cows and horses. In warmer months, you can see butterflies such as the 'Donzella de la Bistoria' and the 'Brocat alpí'.

Just behind the shelter, you continue along a path marked with yellow dots and cairns and, after a steep ascent, you arrive at Collada de Jan (N42). 37.701 E1 38.237).

One last effort and you reach the summit of Mil-Menut, which offers a wonderful 360-degree panoramic view of the French and Andorran Pyrenees.

For your safety, we recommend doing routes above 1700 m between late June and late September only. The season runs from May to October if the weather and ground conditions are good.
