The Comapedrosa Interpretive Circuit is a low-difficulty circular route that’s perfect to do as a family. It’s 1.2 km long and is located at the bottom of Comapedrosa Nature Park, home to the peak of the same name that’s the tallest in Andorra, standing at 2,942 m.

A game for the youngest members of the family

Boasting a spectacular wealth of scenery, this interpretive circuit is perfect to do with the youngest members of the family: with the help of a map (which you can get from either the La Massana Tourist Office or from the Comapedrosa Interpretive Centre itself), you’ll follow a signposted trail where you’ll have to find the six hidden markers. Once you’ve found them and solved the mystery, just bring the leaflet to the office and collect your prize!

But that’s not all: this route will also allow you to discover the plants and animal as well as other distinguishing features of the park. The circuit has 10 interpretive panels that will help you learn about aspects such as the physical, human and biological environment that surrounds you.

Other details and additional information:
The circuit lasts a little under an hour and has picnic areas and an introduction to facilitate access. The route starts at the River Pollós picnic area and ends at the Arinsal snow dam.

Finally, for the more adventurous among you, something else you can do on this route is look for one of the seven tamarros, an imaginary animal popular in local folklore, hidden in the Andorran mountains. Challenge yourself and have a look!

Come to the Comapedrosa Interpretive Circuit and discover the park as a family!
