World Champions Museum
WORLD CHAMPIONS MUSEUM by 99
As well as a racer, Jorge Lorenzo is a great collector who over the years has gathered a fantastic collection of unique pieces on F1 and Motorcycling world champions.
If you love motorsport on two or four wheels, you can’t miss the World Champions Museum: 27 pieces belonging to 32 champions of the whole history of F1: drivers of the like of Jim Clark, Gilles Villeneuve, Emerson Fittipaldi, Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton.
And also suits and helmets of 16 of the 26 Champions of MotoGP and the former 500cc: legendary riders like Barry Sheene, Kenny Roberts, Freddie Spencer, Eddie Lawson, Wayne Rainey, Kevin Schwantz, Mick Doohan and Àlex Crivillé. And from MotoGP, pieces from Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner and Marc Marquez, amongst others.
This museum is located in the heart of the capital and is spread over two stories featuring several different areas: in one you’ll find exhibits commemorating Formula 1 and its great champions like Vettel, Hamilton, and Senna; in another you’ll see items related to Michael Schumacher; and in a third you’ll discover other items and accessories from the world of motorcycling like gloves, boots, jumpsuits and more from champions like Sheene, Rainey and Crivillé!
If you are a fan of motorsport, you will also enjoy a highlight of this collection and one of the most important pieces in the museum: the Yamaha YZR-M1 used by Lorenzo when he became world champion in 2015! Don't miss out!
Finally, the World Champions Museum goes much further, offering not only the opportunity to learn about the history and see memorabilia of Formula 1 and motorcycling champions, but also giving you the chance to experience the sensation of driving an F1 or Moto GP in one of its simulators!
However, if you prefer something a bit “calmer” you can also watch races live on the giant screens. In the evening don’t miss the chance to have dinner or a drink at its thematic restaurant with music and live DJ sets.
The whole thing is complemented by a merchandising store with exclusive items.
