The first stop on this tour of Sant Julià de Lòria is Casa Gendret, where preserves and jams are hand made from ingredients gathered by the company’s own workers.
Heading towards Juberri, our next stop is the Juberri Gardens, a unique place combining a natural mountain landscape with flowerbeds and contemporary sculptures.
From Juberri we make our way directly to Santa Coloma, to visit the Church of Santa Coloma and the Columba Centre. Inside the church, new technological installations provide a virtual recreation of the frescoes in their original setting, made possible through the use of video mapping.
At the Columba Centre we can find out how the Romanesque paintings were created and take the opportunity to admire religious artefacts from a number of churches around the country.
After the visit we make our way back to Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany, where the route ends.
On the tour you will be accompanied at all times by a tourist guide who speaks Catalan, Spanish, French and English.
Route 2: every Tuesday morning from 1 June to 31 October.
Bookings: Andorra la Vella Tourist Office (+376) 750 100 / Autocars Nadal (+376) 805 151.
On 8 September, in honour of the festival of Our Lady of Meritxell, the Tourist Bus will not be operating.
