European Year of Cultural Heritage
EUROPEAN YEAR OF CULTURAL HERITAGE
01 von April - 31 von December
Andorra is joining the celebration of the European Year of Cultural Heritage with various activities to promote it among its citizens and visitors.
2018 has been designated the European Year of Cultural Heritage. Under the slogan “Our heritage: where the past meets the future”, the European Commission is aiming to spread awareness of the EU countries’ cultural wealth: a wealth with enormous potential, of great social importance and economic significance, which is essential to reach the biggest possible audience. Over the course of this year, it is estimated that around 70,000 events will take place, organised by member states, regions, towns and cities. Some longer, transnational events will also be celebrated.
Andorra will play host to a series of activities and initiatives all over the country, mainly focusing on written and immovable heritage.
