The Rosa del Nord follows the escape routes used by thousands of people during the Spanish Civil War and World War II.
The trial, which starts in Bellestar (Alt Urgell) and reaches Sant Julià de Lòria via the Mas d’Alins, is therefore a winter night race in pairs and entirely self-sufficient (no refreshment points) in two versions: the race and the popular walk. Both cover a total distance of 22 km and climb 1,600m. The highest point is at 1,570m and the lowest at 780m.
Place and date: Start in Bellestar (Alt Urgell) and finish at the Plaça. de Calonge- Sant Antoni, in Sant Julià de Lòria (next to the sports pavilion). Saturday 28 November 2015.
