Lleida to Andorra coach, a connection to the AVE
Although Andorra does not have its own railway system, we provide visitors with numerous coach services to and from the main neighbouring stations. Passengers of the Spanish high-speed train can get off at the Lleida Pirineus station and then take a coach to Andorra. Trains arrive at the station from a number of different Spanish cities, such as Seville (Santa Justa), Zaragoza (Delicias) and, of course, Barcelona (Sants) and Madrid (Puerta de Atocha). There are also other lines that stop at the station, including regional and medium-distance trains from Irún, Gijón or L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, among others.
Details of the coach route
The Lleida to Andorra coach route is direct, a non-stop connection between the Catalan city to Andorra la Vella. The only stops on the route are in Lleida and in Andorran territory: Sant Julià de Lòria and the Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany urban centre.
The stops in Lleida are the previously mentioned AVE station (Plaça Berenguer IV) and the bus station (Carrer Saracíbar, 2). Once in Andorra, the stops are in Carrer del Prat Gran, Carrer del Prat de la Creu, Plaça de las Arcades, Avinguda de Santa Coloma and Sant Julià de Lòria.
The total journey time for the Lleida to Andorra coach is around 2 hours 40 minutes, with no transfers. There are normally five departures a day in each direction: morning, afternoon and night. The only exceptions during the year are 25 December and 1 January, when no service is provided.
