From 4 July to 1 August 2015, for the third consecutive year in Andorra, theCirque du Soleil presented their Scalada STORIA show, an open air event free and unique in Europe.
STORIA, a new performance that showed the country's more mystic side, an acrobatic and metaphorical journey to the legends of Andorra.
In a minimalistic decor evoking the dome of a cathedral with contemporary shapes between tradition and modernity, STORIA came forth from the legends that founded Andorra.
The White Lady, the divine protectress of these lands full of light, lifted the top on one of the boxes of legends of the magic story that is STORIA. Each box revealed endless air acrobatics and choreographies to evoke the fabulous secrets of the history of Andorra.
STORIA is a more modern than poetic metaphor in which legendary heroes and the principality's cultural wealth stand out. An ideal stage for enjoying this new show.
STORIA was performed every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4 July to 1 August 2015. The show, which started at 10 p.m. and lasted 60 minutes, was held in the public car park of the Parc Central, in the centre of Andorra la Vella, and there were seats for 5,000 people at each performance and 30 minutes of entertainment before the show started.
