DISCOVER MORE

Sant Julià de Lòria is often the first region to welcome visitors to Andorra, as the parish is located in the south, and borders with neighbouring Spain.

It has several towns such as Auvinyà, Aixirivall, Juberri, Aixovall, Bissisarri, Certers, Fontaneda, Llumeneres and Nagol, although other small mountain villages can be found nestled along its valleys.

Sant Julià de Lòria is also the name of one of the parish’s main towns, which, together with the capital city, is the focal point for trade, as it has various shopping centres and large stores specialising in mountain sports and biking. It also hosts important congresses and musical and cultural events throughout the year, with music, theatre, dance and celebrations to cater for all tastes.

It is home to the popular tourist attractions of Tobotronc and Airtekk, which you will find in Naturlandia. In summer the adventure park offers you a multitude of outdoor activities for all ages. In winter, it offers fifteen kilometres of Nordic skiing land with various levels of difficulty, among other snow activities.

In addition the parish conserves important historical heritage: numerous centuries-old fountains, streets that preserve the rural architecture of the 19th century, the Romanesque church of Sant Cerni de Nagol dating from the 12th century and the Sanctuary of Canòlich, where you can see the Romanesque carving of the Holy Mother who is the patron saint of the parish.

We recommend you visit the Tobacco Museum, the chapel of Sant Mateu del Pui d‘Olivesa, or reach the Valley of Madriu-Perafita-Claror, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2004.
