Different popular “castanyades” are held in Andorra for All Saints.
This route runs through the idyllic forest of Coll d’Ordino.
Marvel at one of the best panoramic views of our valleys almost from the very first step at Planell de les Basses. The trail climbs up a forest path that leads directly to the Bony de les Neres peak, where there is a telecommunications antenna. Although this route is located in the parish of Ordino, visitors in winter will have to access the starting point via the village of Canillo as access is closed via Ordino.
Take the CG-2 towards Canillo. When you reach the village of Canillo (km 10), turn left at the roundabout in the direction of Ordino, taking the Coll d’Ordino road (CS-240).
You’ll find a parking zone for your vehicle as you pass kilometre point 8.9. Climb up to the Planell de les Basses and walk about 50 metres southeast until you come to a small lookout point (mirador) featuring an information sign.
