The Pic de Carroi is particularly eye-catching for its telecommunications antennas and repeaters.
It is a vertical rock face that splits the two valleys of Andorra. On one side is wild Andorra, featuring the Enclar hunting reserve, and on the other is an unbeatable sheer view of the heart of the capital (Andorra la Vella) and Escaldes Engordany. The route starts in the idyllic village of Sispony, where you can visit the Casa Rull Museum. Then climb a forest trail up to the peak. Experience a little less than 900 metres’ altitude difference - it is possible to descend via the same forest trail or perhaps via La Rectoria canal, although a very good level of skiing is required for this.
