The descent of the Negre d'Envalira peak is an easy route in Grandvalira.
Start point: Grau Roig resort car park or the village of el Pas de la Casa. We can get to this route from any point of the Grandvalira ski resort, but the best ways from el Pas de la Casa on the Font Negre ski lift or from Grau Roig on the Pic Blanc. If we want to get there without using lifts, we will have to do so from the les Abelletes area in the village of el Pas de la Casa. In either case, we will have to go for the Coll dels Isards mountain pass, climb the crest leading SW to the Pic Negre. Once at 2,700 m we find the first Northern gulleys under the Pic Negre.
Descent: A variety of corridors and alternatives, all well north facing and maintaining the quality of the snow well into the spring. We can come down wide and simple gulleys or other steeper corridors up to 45°. Some have large snow cornices that make it difficult to access the corridor or gulley, some of the entrances are up to 55° in the first metres.
Parking area: (42°31'58.09"N and 1°42'1.36"E).
