The Carnival of Canillo takes place over the weekend before Carnival Monday on 27 February.
Vallnord offers snow bike excursions to discover the snowscapes hidden at the resorts. Departures leave from the Hortell area in Vallnord-Ordino Arcalís ski resort. The routes are run during the day but can also be organised for moonlight tours.
There is a permanent circuit for driving snow bikes as well as organising competitions with your friends in Pal sector at Setúria, in Vallnord-Pal Arinsal ski resort. All this can be combined with dinners and lunches for groups. Children aged between 4 and 12 can have their first contact with driving special snow bikes on a circuit designed especially for them located in Planell de Pal.
In Grandvalira, the snow bike trails are available in Grandvalira-Grau Roig and on the Grandvalira-Soldeu circuit. It is an activity for both adults and children, although always accompanied by an adult.
In addition, at the Grandvalira Circuit Pas de la Casa you can enjoy ice driving courses and enjoy competitions at the foot of the slope with the Andros Trophy (13th and 14th December).
Naturlandia offers snow bike excursions adapted to groups or individuals. Excursions last from 30 to 60 minutes and allow you to enjoy speed surrounded by nature.
Another option is buggy excursions. Small vehicles equipped with caterpillar tracks offer easy access to spectacular snowscapes. Routes lasting up to 3 hours are organised from Vallnord, Grandvalira or Naturlandia. Or if you prefer, there are night-time departures with dinner at the end of the trail.
