The Segudet canyon is near the village of Segudet. Its difficulty is low, ideal for starting out in this sport.
It is 400 metres long and 75 metres high. Although this is an easy canyon, it presents difficulties if there is a strong flow. We must also consider the storms that form at the head of the canyon. Access is around 30 minutes by car to Ordino. In the centre of the village there are 2 roundabouts together, where we take the road to Segudet until we come to a diversion to Segudet on the right. A few metres later there is a roundabout and a car park, where we leave the vehicle. The approach on foot is by following the Segudet path up the stream (the asphalt ends after a while).
We leave the path that goes to the Coll d’Ordino and continue along a wide track with red and white marks, which crosses private property. Then there is a steep climb (we pass a rest-viewpoint area) and a few metres beyond this to the right we go down a path with fixed ropes to the bed of the stream. The descent lasts approximately 1-1.30 hours.
The return (10 minutes) is downstream on the right-hand side, passing a wooden walkway and reaching the marked wide track. From here on we take the same way back to the car park. The route on foot starts at 42° 33' 28",01° 32' 23".
