The Tomb del Turer is a quiet stroll around the pretty village of Ordino, in the north-west of the Principality at 1,298m alt.
We will start this circular hiking route at the Church of Sant Corneli i Sant Cebrià, in the old quarter of Ordino: a signpost will show us where to go. Once out of the village, the path begins to climb and we go into a forest of Scots pine until we reach el Turer, where we have marvellous views of the valley. We go back into the forest and down to the Camí de Casamanya de Segudet, which we will follow until we cross the river Segudet. In this area we find signs for the iron ways and the diversion of the GR11.
We follow the path towards Segudet and in a few minutes we are back in Ordino.
The route starts at the Church of Sant Corneli i Sant Cebrià in Ordino, in the parish of Ordino (42° 33' 24" ,01° 31' 57").
For your safety, we recommend you do the routes at altitudes of over 1700 metres between the end of June and the end of September.
You will find further details of this and other routes in the Hiking guide Trails of Andorra.
