The hiking route leads to one of the five highest peaks in Andorra, 2,903 metres.
We start the route at the Pleta del Castellar, where there is a small path that goes to the Comís Vell river. On the way, which is a tough climb, we will cross forests, pass stone shelters and cabins and abundant fauna to the Pic de la Font Blanca, a solitary and spectacular place. On a clear day, the peak gives us spectacular views of the Sorteny Valley and neighbouring France.
The route starts at the Pleta del Castellar, shortly before the Vallnord-Ordino Arcalís ski resort (42° 37' 55",1° 30' 40").
For your safety, we recommend you do the routes at altitudes of over 1700 metres between the end of June and the end of September.
