The Camí d’Enclar is one of the best places in Andorra to see large birds of prey, such as the black kites or vultures.
We will leave Andorra la Vella towards Spain along Avinguda de Santa Coloma, which changes its name further on and becomes the Av d’Enclar. At the roundabout there is in front of the Total petrol station, we will turn right into carrer dels Barrers and go to the end, where we will find the start of the Camí d’Enclar. We start to walk following a scree that will take us to the Enclar Valley. We climb gently up to the Enclar meadows where some dry stone walls still remain. We will take the same route back.
The start of the route is in the village of Santa Coloma, in the parish of Andorra la Vella, at the end of carrer dels Barrers (42° 29' 46",01° 29' 47").
For your safety, we recommend you do the routes at altitudes of over 1700 metres between the end of June and the end of September.
You will find further details of this and other routes in the Hiking guide Trails of Andorra.
