The Camí de Ràmio hiking route in the Vall del Madriu, is a route of medium difficulty that will take us to the Bordes de Ràmio.
We start the route on the Circuit de les Fonts, on the last bend on the way up to Engolasters. We follow the cobbled path taking us to the Bordes d’Entremesaigües. Then we come to the Sassanat bridge and continue along the same path until we reach Ràmio, where we find a set of ‘bordes’ alongside the River Madriu. The Madriu Valley is an idyllic place where nature expresses its full exuberance and where we will have the chance to see squirrels and different birds such as tits and woodpeckers. This valley was declared UNESCO Heritage of Mankind in 2004.
The route starts on the last bend going up to Engolasters (42° 31' 2",1° 34' 15").
For your safety, we recommend you do the routes at altitudes of over 1700 metres between the end of June and the end of September.
