The Montmalús lakes medium difficulty hiking route is a pretty natural stroll in quiet surroundings.
We start the route to the Montmalús lakes at the Cubil car park in the Grandvalira-Grau Roig sector. We climb the Montmalús ski slope following the chairlift, always southwards until we come to a small lake: the Coma Estremera. We continue climbing in the same direction until the Collada de Montmalús mountain pass (alt. 2,704 m), where we find the lake and the mountain hut of the same name. We return along the same path.
The route starts in the Cubil car park in Grandvalira-Grau Roig (42° 31' 54",1° 41' 46").
For your safety, we recommend you do the routes at altitudes of over 1700 metres between the end of June and the end of September.
