The Cardemeller hiking route to the Font del Bisbe spring is in the parish of La Massana.
Although it climbs 400 metres, it is easy and suitable for everyone. It is 2,000m long and takes about 2 hours.
On the Camí del Cardemeller we can see the typical ‘bordes’ of Andorra, a testimonial remain of the former stock breeding life in the valley. We will cross flowering meadows and forests of Scots pine until we come to the Font del Bisbe spring (a picnic area with barbecue).
The route starts 900m above the village of Pal, at point 42° 32' 37",1° 28' 19" where there is a wooden sign indicating it.
For your safety, we recommend you do the routes at altitudes of over 1700 metres between the end of June and the end of September.
You will find further details of this and other routes in the Hiking guide Trails of Andorra.
