The Camí de Francolí is in the parish of Sant Julià de Lòria.
It is nearly 3.5 km long, but due to its steepness it is classified as very difficult. The approximate time of the route is 5 hours.
This route starts at the picnic area on the River Ós, on the CS-600 to Ós de Civis (5.5Km. from the Aixovall roundabout towards Ós de Civís). Here we find a small bridge passing over the river, which indicates the beginning of the route. The path follows the river from the Coll de l’Aquell and is marked with yellow markings.
Going up the course of the river, we will come to the end of the valley, we cross the river and climb the mountainside to the Borda de Molines. After crossing the river once more we come to a large flowering meadow where we will turn left and climb up to the forest. One last line will take us to the Francolí mountain hut at the end of the route.
The route starts at the bridge passing over the River d’Ós, at 42° 29' 28",01° 26' 46".
For your safety, we recommend you do the routes at altitudes of over 1700 metres between the end of June and the end of September.
