Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany celebrate Carnival together, with a parade and troupe contest that attracts large crowds looking for fun.
Andorra cycling route 4 covers the whole of the CG-2 from Escaldes-Engordany (1,063m), to Port d’Envalira (2,342m), very near the frontier with France.
It is classified as 1a sp (very difficult). The Port d’Envalira is the mountain pass with the highest road in the Pyrenees. Cycling Route 4 has an average uphill gradient of 5.2%, with sections of 7.5% and a total difference in level of 1,345 metres and a distance of 26 kilometres. This route goes around the parishes of Escaldes-Engordany, Encamp and Canillo.
